I really like this painting! I don't know if it's what you were aiming for but it really makes me want to get into the kitchen and start cooking! I'd put roses in the bottle and crush roasted spices in the pestle and mortar. It's evocative :o)

Love the sheen of the brass and rich glow of all colors here. Interesting marks on the pestle handle, too. The details in your work are fascinating.
