aaaahhhhh. They are so very difficult to get the architecture of, I think. Perfectly done. Love the indication of translucence at the top. But I'm also in love with the warm shadow under the wood ledge. sorry I've got to run: I hear the ocean calling.
OMgoodness...this is absolutely amazing. The realism...the texture of the shell, the splinters in the wood. Appears you can actually feel those textures for real. Great stuff Paul.

I used to love drawing shells until I started painting stones. I like the realism in this one Paul. Very nice.
